Meet The Team

My name is Evie and I am the director of rehab at Belmont Lodge. I oversee the therapy department and work closely with the interdisciplinary team on any changes that occur with the residents. I started working in long term care in 1994 as a COTA, ER certified. I graduated from Pueblo Community College. I first became a director in 2007. During my career I have received multiple different certifications including myofascial release, soft tissue and vestibular to name a couple. I am a native of Colorado Springs, married with 3 children and 7 grandchildren. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family fishing and camping, I also enjoy coffee and reading

My name is Samantha and my role in the facility is Admissions and Marketing. My job is to maintain census in the building, build and maintain relationships with hospice, assisted living, home health, hospitals and other healthcare facilities in our community and lastly be a positive influence/ manager in our facility. I have worked in healthcare since I was 15 and Geriatrics is my passion. I started in Long Term Care as a CNA and from there have grown and had the opportunity to have worked in Transport, Activities, Business Office, Scheduling and Payroll. I plan on continuing to grow and eventually get my Administrator license. I keep an open-door policy for all staff, family, and residents.

My name is Elizabeth, and I am the nursing home administrator at Belmont Lodge. I started my career in long term care as a CNA. I worked as a CNA in nursing homes and hospital while I was in college. I graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in social work in 2004. During my career in long term care, I have worked as a CNA, admissions and discharges, social service director, assistant administrator and now as an administrator. I became a licensed nursing home administrator in 2019. When not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and 6 children. We enjoy playing board games, exploring the Colorado mountains with our Jeeps, swimming, and gardening.

Corina Quiroz is the director of nursing at Belmont Lodge. I started my career in long term care as an LPN in 2015 graduating from Lamar Community College, I joined the team at Belmont Lodge in 2019 as an LPN. During my time here I continued attending Lamar Community College graduating with my RN license and became the DON in 2021. When not working I enjoy spending time with my 3 daughters and significant other. We enjoy taking trips, going to the movies and being outdoors.
